Just installed turbo and having problems

My friend just installed a 16 turbo on his Eclipse GSX and is haveing problems with it. When the engines cold the car will buck and the RPMs won't go over 3000. But when the car is warmed up the car is fine. No bucking and the RPM are normal. Any suggestion on what is wrong is appreciated.

More info.

Check the spark plugs and wires. Check the O2 sensor. It might be making the ECU dump too much fuel on warmup.

He has a 91 Eclipse GSX with the supporting mods. 255 Walbro & rewire kit, FPR, plugs & Wires, 16g Turbo, Evo exhaust manifold, 2g or 1g O2 houseing(not sure) Help me out Chad??, Boost, A/f and EGT guage, pocket logger, 550 injectors. I think that's about it.

Uhmmmm.....what is he using for fuel management?

check for boost leaks and pre turbo intake leaks.

it is my car. it was a pre turbo intake leak. found it last night. thanks for your help dan for posting for me while i was at work & to everyone who replied.>>> 91 gsx, ported 16g, walbro 255, rewire, s-afc, 550's, spoolin up afpr, ported evo manifold, ported 02 housing, hacked mas...just to answer a couple of the questions that pertained to this thread.

up and running fine....huh Dan. at least that guy in the TA knows from last night
