ok my question is i have a 97 eclipse gst and it has about 76,000 miles on it.my mods are tanabe cat-back exhaust,complete piping from turbo to tb and greddy type s blow off valve,and k&n filter. my liftres are ticking not really bad but alot more louder then it used to and i did a compression test like 5 months ago and the #'s were like 120 120 95 115. im wondering if i should rebuild the motor now and just replace everything with oem stuff or do performance parts. i am gonna get hks cams but should i get better pistons and rods and valves and all that stuff? i dont plan on making this like 400 or 500 hp but i am gonna be putting on a t3/t4 turbo and i wanna get a fmic and i only plan on running about 15 to 18psi so i was wondering what i should do
 
You dont need to get new piston heads and rods if your not gonna run more than 400 hp. although your 3rd cylander needs new rings\. id suggest getting a rebuild kit with new gaskets and piston rings.
 
If you don't want to sell the car (seriously consider this!) then I would re-ring the pistons, get a 3-angle vavle job, and clean or install new lifters.

Don't remove the Crank if you don't have crankwalk! You can do a poor mans rebuild in the car by just removing the head and oilpan. Ball hone w/ something covering the crank and lots of brakecleaner when your done.
