WTF WHAT A POS I THOUGHT AT FIRST IT WAS OBD I WHICH WOULD OF BEEN GREAT but now I know its OBD-2.

So whats the great hype about the 95 computer? Ive got to get this pos sent out to get socketed if I want to run a data logger !

Can you tune a wideband o2 on the dyno with out a socket as welll??

You don't need any sort of socket for the data loggers most of us use.

If you want to use dsmlink, it should already be eprom (the reason people want them).

A wideband usually has nothing to do with the ecu. If you use the one at the shop, it will be a standalone unit as are most of the ones people run in dsms.
 
what if its a 96 or newer car what do you do about emissions.. do you have to switch the stock one back in????
 
The ECU's are the same except for the EPROM socket. I wouldn't think you would have trouble with emissions.

no. The emissions stuff is all the same.
 
GREAT THANKS GUYS yea once I get the new turbo/intercooler paid off id like to get DSM link, awesome software!
