Hard Piping

I have been slowly getting my hands on different sections of hard pipe for my car's intake. I now have complete upper hard pipe sections after installing a dejontool section after the BOV yesterday. My question is how much of a differance does this stuff make I haven't really noticed much. Also what is a good setup for the complete lower IC pipe? I would like to go straight from the turbo's compressor to the intercooler.

My hard piped IC piping was put on during my turbo/manifold/injectors/intake so I can't tell how much it helped by itself but I'm sure the turbo spools easier because of it.
