I was wonderin if there was a way to see if your over-running your 1g mas. I just did a few pulls tonight in low 60 degree weather (Houston), and noticed that my Kar readings are way high. 2264 Hz to be exact. I hit that number at the top of 1st, 2nd and 3rd. at 20psi on 93 oct. Never did a 4th gear pull. My mods are Big16, 2 1/2" turbo back, mild head port, FMIC w/ all s/s piping, 255lph, 550's, afc, egt, oversized tb.
I have removed the lower honeycomb, and was also wonderin if cuttin out the lower section of plastic, to even hack it more, and allow more air to flow. But didnt want to mess with it more, if its time for me to upgrade to the 2g mas.
I have a buddy down here that know's that the 1g mas can get you into the 11's, and capable of around 400 hp... But i would like to keep an idle, without it surging, and not to worry about low throttle problems.
Any help would be great, thanks.
