engine swap questions

i was curious because i have a horrible driving record and my insurance is rape no matter what i do i was thinking of buying a 1g talon gs and then throwing in a gst motor(new) so i can save money and go fast at the same time how much a new or rebulit gst motor is? is it worth the swap? i thought it would be pretty bad if i started a project car, so i guess overall i just was curious from some other members who have done swaps how much trouble they had, what had problems i should be aware of, mods to make it work, places to get a motor, price, should i even do it?, just input on the whole dilly.

First off. You can't put a turbo engine into a non-turbo car. Well you probably can, but it's going to be well over $5,000 dollars. So it's not worth it at all.

What you can do is buy a turbo kit for your n/a. Something from www.hahnracecraft.com It's a full kit, so you don't have to worry about it too much. That is a much better route, and there are plenty of non-turbos doing this. Hope this helps.
