Delta Wastegate

Hey well i was wondering i plan on upgrading to a 50 trim and i was wondering i found a guy that is selling a DeltaWastegate. I was wondering does anybody know any info on it i never heard anybody post about it, is it any good and what spring does it come with. Also do you think it will work good with a pte 50trim.....ok thx

Depending on the price, it might not be worth it. Deltagates do not seem to be as reliable as some of the other gates on the market. HKS and Tial seem to make the best from what I have seen personally. I have a Tial 35mm gate and it works perfectly for my 50 trim. I believe the 35mm is no longer made but the 38mm is the same price. That should be more than you need and they are relatively cheap also.

for 80 bucks it sounds good unless its somehow defective. Also find out what lb spring it is, there are many different ones. I am not a real believer in buying used parts though. good luck

The Deltagate is a descent gate however it's only 31mm which is not much larger than a stock internal wastegate so it's hardly worth it, espically on a 50trim where your going to need to pass a little more exahust than a 31mm gate will allow.

The Tial 35mm is now 38mm (not that the 35mm isn't made anymore they just upgraded) which is a much better choice. You can get Tial rip off gates on ebay for cheap which is Tial's old moulding sold privately as a 35mm Tial Sty Wastegate . It's still a descent piece though.

HKS is larger around 40mm and is a nice gate as it Turbosmart etc.. Even turbonetics new it's Deltagate was a lump of shit for today's large turbo's so they came out with a new wastegate which looks like a Tial and seems to be very nice. However they claim it to be only 32mm as well. I looked at it and it seemd much larger than the old DeltaGate.
