RnR O2 eliminator DP

Does anyone have experience putting an O2 eliminator style downpipe on a 1G FWD???? I am looking into the ext. dumping RNR dp, and just wanted an idea of how involved the install is. Nothing will be too major for me to do, just looks like a biotch to fit in there. I have access to a lift, which should make it easier.

Also, should I go 2.5" or 3 DP": Here's my setup:

Freshly rebuilt .030" over 4G63
Some port and polish work, 3 angle on the head
Big 16G, 7cm..port matched to 2G ported exh. man.
Buschur UICP, stock BOV, 3" hard intake pipe,Hacked MAF
Blitz SSBC set for max 20 psi, Walbro 190 HP, stock injectors
2.5" cat-back, gutted cat.

Any help is appreciated.

go with a 2.5.

take into consideration with the rnr system that the o2 housing is one piece. meaning its a biatch fitting it all up IMHO. that was the main reason why i got the VRS 2.5 o2 elim dp from slowboyracing.com since the housing and dp were able to disconnect allowing for easier install and uninstall.

for me it was an issue of having a 2 piece system.

also the reason i say stick with a 2.5 DP is that ur exhaust is 2.5. if u dont plan on upgrading it wouldn't make much sense to have the big increase in the dp size then neck it back down at the catback. plus the 2.5 dp will give better low end response.

o2 elims are a B#%CH to instal. and it sux if you have to redo your oil pan gasket cause you have to remove the ENTIRE downpipe from the turbo to do it. it has good gains but i would save up for a tubular o2 housing and downpipe. it makes things so much easier.
 
Its easy for me, takes about 30 minutes....but uh, why would you have to redo the oil pan gasket?
 
i had to redo the oil pan gasket cause when me and dave fixed my siezed oil pump we used screw drivers to pry off the oil pan and forgot to bend the oil pan back in place. so when we installed the oil pan back in place and i started the car i was shooting out oil like crazy. im sure you've heard the stories sean. leaving puddles everywhere i went. i didnt have a chance to fix the gasket a few days later cause i had to go to school and work. im sure you heard about the puddle i left at nicks house and rnr racing. you could even trace the trail from the school i go to back to my housing just by following the oil stains on the street. well anyways its just hard for me cause i have the garret 4 bolt turbine housing and a 3.5" downpipe and i suck at being a mechanic :thumb:
