After nearly a month and half of waiting the 3 inch cat and o2 eliminator downpipe is finally here! After numerous emails and contact with rnr they kept me updated how my downpipe was coming along, but when it got here today it was definitely worth the wait, the quality is top notch. I would highly recommend the exhaust systems of RNR, but do expect a wait, but it should be worth it. Overall...good purchase. heres some pics........

The one and only complaint I have about my RNR turboback is the rear slip fitting (by the rear axles). It fell apart a couple times, then I tapped lightly around it with a hammer and its tight now.

Now that winter is around, guess what. It leaks like hell, you can watch all the exhaust leaking out of it. Self-sealing slip fits

Man, the amount of work I've done on my car with pulling/putting back on the downpipe, I don't think I could ever conceive putting on an "O2 eliminator" type pipe system.

If you like it though, more power to you... :thumb:

is there nething u can do to stop the leaking? cause the pipes not on the car yet so i can make adjustments with out having to take the whole exhaust apart?

You could slip it together and have it welded all the way around before installation. Or you could get an exhaust clamp and tighten that sucker GOOD.

use a band clamp. its a stainless clamp that is about 3inches wide and wraps around the pipe. usually works well if you can't have your pipes welded. some also don't want to incase they change out an exhuast.

Thanks for that information bro!
I didnt want to actually fully weld mine together.
This is a helpful hint.

I had mine tacked in a few places. The carbon buildup seals it and if I need to remove it, the tacks can be "persuaded" to leave.

I must admit though. I think the RNR exhausts could benefit from being flanged. At least before the flexpipe.

I think you can find them online. if you go to your local auto store they may not carry them. kinda pricey at $8 but its what my brother uses on his cars, his friends and my dad uses them as well. when they tighten down, the stainless kind of stretches around the pipe making for a nice seal and clamp.
hopefully this link works, you can find them in summitracing (first search) type in band clamp in the search box.
