I have a 92' Talon TSI and a 95' GSX, eventually I wanna swap the engines between them and sell the Talon with the 2G engine in it to some German so i don't have to worry about contaminating some american with DSM problems and save my self some crankwalk worrying in the process.
I have a few questions about the swap that I can't seem to find answers on after much searching.
1.I know 1G's have CAS', how do I incorparate that into my 95'?
2.Is this a pretty straightforward "easy" swap?
3. How will I incorparate a Non-CAS 2G engine into the Talon? Get a CAS and put it in the 2g 4g63? What does that require other than the CAS?
4.Will the 1G engine survive more boost pressure stock than a 2G due to the compression? 7.5 vs. 8.5:1?
5. What do I do about the 6bolt to 7bolt issue? Swap flywheels too?
My main goals are:
eliminate the high chances of crankwalk I have with the 2g 4G63
make 330whp and drive it everyday.
have the more desireable engines of the two (1g 4G63)
12.5 quarters at 110 on stock internals.
I would appreciate if any one of you could help me out here...this would be a winter project here in Germany (It snows alot here).
