1G engine to 2G swap questions

hey fellas'

I have a 92' Talon TSI and a 95' GSX, eventually I wanna swap the engines between them and sell the Talon with the 2G engine in it to some German so i don't have to worry about contaminating some american with DSM problems and save my self some crankwalk worrying in the process.

I have a few questions about the swap that I can't seem to find answers on after much searching.

1.I know 1G's have CAS', how do I incorparate that into my 95'?

2.Is this a pretty straightforward "easy" swap?

3. How will I incorparate a Non-CAS 2G engine into the Talon? Get a CAS and put it in the 2g 4g63? What does that require other than the CAS?

4.Will the 1G engine survive more boost pressure stock than a 2G due to the compression? 7.5 vs. 8.5:1?

5. What do I do about the 6bolt to 7bolt issue? Swap flywheels too?

My main goals are:

eliminate the high chances of crankwalk I have with the 2g 4G63
make 330whp and drive it everyday.
have the more desireable engines of the two (1g 4G63)
12.5 quarters at 110 on stock internals.

I would appreciate if any one of you could help me out here...this would be a winter project here in Germany (It snows alot here).

1G's have a Crank Angle sensor and a Cam angle sensor incorporated into 1 unit that is install on the head. The 2G's have seperate crank and cam sensors. In 95-96, the cam sensor is under the intake cam gear. In 97-99 it is on the head in the roughly the same location as the 1G sensors. You have to wire up the 95 as if you were doing a 6-bolt swap.

Yes and no. Taking the 92 Engine into the 95 is easy enough. The other way around will be a pain. In 2G turbos, 3 of the 4 engine mounts are on the tranny which leaves 1 on the block. In 1G turbos, 3 of the 4 are on the block. This isn't an issue when you swap from a 1G to a 2G because most times, you leave the stock 2g tranny in and all is well. But when you try to put a 2G engine in the 1G, there will only be 2 mounts for the engine: 1 on top of the tranny (stock 1G) and one on the side of the engine since the block only has the provisions for 1 mount, not 3 like the 1G motor. Not to mention the wiring which I will address next.

Again all turbo engines have cam sensors and crank sensors. The position is the key.

To put the 2G engine in the 1G you would need to rewire the Crank/Cam signal to accept two inputs. Basically if you read the links above, you will have to do the opposite. Not impossible and probably not any harder than putting a 1G engine in a 2G but I don't know of many people who have done a 2G into a 1G. It's another unknown.

This is vague question at best. Strictly by the numbers, all things being equal, the 7.8:1 compression 1G engine should be able to run more boost than the 8.5:1 compression 2G engine before detonation. But that has everything to do with tuning, fuel, air charge coolant, boost pressure, etc etc etc. People of gone fast and run high boost on both setups stock.

The issues are only at the flywheels. The tranny won't care. And since the flywheel is already attached to the right crank, no worries there.

You can run 330 whp and run 12.5 at 110 on stock 2G internals. You don't need the 1G engine for that. Eliminitation of crankwalk is a farce. You could just as easily walk the 1G engine but just not know it because there is no crank sensor to wipe out.
