So...which is it, is the plug positioned on the top/bottom, or the left/right.
The way I read the instructions, the splitter within the flow path of the MAF is suppoused to be vertical, which meant that the plug is on the left/right side of the MAF. Or am I wrong and the VFAQ pics are correct?

I have no idea what your trying to say. Theres a little arrow on the MAF. You want the air moving in the direction of the arrow.

See how the inside of the maf has a divider? It makes a difference if the divider is oriented vertically or horizontally.

As posted, the divider should be vertical (plug on the side)

I believe it is a moisture issue. They want some part in there to be vertical so any moisture that accumilates will run off.

I will work either way. It is only an issue if you run into swirling problems in the tubes and then you will have to try it both ways to see which works better.

Lmao .......where the hell have you been? Time to use the search function under "MAFT".

Does it really matter mouting the MAF unpside down, because my UICP will not allow me to mount it like the dejon tool ones. I'm going to install mine on Saturday but now everyone has me worried i was just going to flip it over so that the plug unit was on the bottom not the top(the arrow would still be pointing in the direction of air travel)

Don't sweat it, oyu should be fine
