Evo iii O2 vs 2g O2 pics

Here are some pics of my ported Evo iii O2 housing against the stock 2g O2 housing i took off. DAMN it's huge! oh yeah and by the way, my downpipe does not bolt up to it. always something man.

wow, impressive.

well if you searched you would have found that the downpipes usually dont align with the EVO 02housing. if they have a large flexpipe then you could probably move it to fit.

it's not that it doesn't align to it. It does. My flange is not slotted, it is a single drilled hole for the studs on each side. I did research it by the way. If you check RRE's website, they say if you have a 2.5" pipe it should be possible to bolt up. I will have no problem once I get the correct flange welded on. I do not have a AWD, I have a FWD car and my flex point will not hit anything, I have about 3 inches of clearance between it an my oil pan. Are u in Bahrain now? I was there for a year when I was in the Marine Corps. I met my wife there, she was a flight attendant for Gulf Airlines.

So did you notice a differance...I know when I put my O2 elim dp on it made a very noticeable spool up differance and also made more power throughout the powerband. But that was with the O2 housing opening to 3" even before it was welded to the dp section.

didn't get it on yet. SBR has a delay on my evo iii manifold. Said they are due in next week then they will ship them out. I also am ordering the evo iii turbo today when I get my money from my 14b turbo and all my old 2g stuff i had on ebay. So that will delay me another 1-2 weeks, and after that, i have to drive it to a muffler shop with no downpipe bolted up to get them to fix my flange. I can't wait to get it all on though, i've never felt boost pulling me all the way to redline in every gear. on T25's

Oh okay, so you basically need another flange for the downpipe.

yeah, need a bigger flange with wider bolt pattern, i'm gonna try my local parts store first, but I know Road Race Engineering has them, but for 10 bucks each, kinda steep for a 3 dollar flange. I was in Manama, Bahrain at the Naval Security Base, I was in Marine Corps Security Force Company that used to gaurd the Manai Plaza Hotel we all stayed in. Had a blast in bahrain, I love the wuerbler pub and the gulf hotel pub, and the wrangler, those were my favorite watering holes.

awesome be sure to post your impressions when your mani arrives. The port work on that O2 is nice

I got the O2 housing and the port work also from Slowboy. I couldn't be happier with it. Got my flange and gasket today at a local auto parts store, paid 8.75 for both. Just waitin' on parts now!
