New Turbo

Ok... I am thinking of changing the Tubo in my 1990 GSX, this car is supposed to be a street racer + a low 12s high 11s on the track, which turbo should I get.

And also, does anyone know of any Url that have step to step instructions about how to connect a boost gauge, im putting my Auto meter Boost gauge in, and I think i ****ed something up : ), not working like it should.

with those kind of ET's.... I'd suggest the following:

3" mandel bent exhaust
K&N Intake
Green/AGP L2 or L2R
AFC / Greddy e-manage
IRC Race Core
Manual boost controller of some kind
External Wastegate
Walbro 255 (or something higher quality if your not cheep like me)


A set of HKS 264/272 cams wouldn't hurt either.

He can hit low 12' on a 16G if he is a good driver, 11's would be pushing it though. But if its a street only car, then your right, he will def need a bigger turbo to get that kind of power on pump gas. If my car was an AWD, then I think I could have gotten 12's on pump gas with the Big28, but it would have been mid to high 12's.

P.S. Remember that going fast isn't as easy as adding a few mod's. It takes practice and some mod's don't always produce the results you are looking for.
