bolting up a big 16g

I currently have 96 Talon TSi (FWD) and i have intake, cat-back exhaust 1 gen intake manifold. And I have this big 16g that i want to put on. It was on my friends first gen and i was wondering what do i have to do to put it on? I saw on a web-site thier is like a kit to put it on a 2nd gen or something. And what numbers or serial code is on the turbo to identify it?

The "kit" is a 1g oil feed,oil return, and a J-pipe,banjo bolts,. I bought the kit which is probably way overpriced. It's probably cheaper to pick up the parts seperately from mitsu. but I never priced them out.

Hey whats up, I just put a 16g on my buddys 2g and it was relatively easy, but first I must say, DONT Buy any install kits, except for maybe a cheap one for gaskets as ALL of the parts needed are on any 1G Turbo wich can be found at almost any junkyard or off the DSMTRADER, you will need for sure a 1g J-Pipe (Outlet Elbow) and the Oil feed line that comes from the head (both bolts will be needed also) one thing to not is that the original line will need to be blocked from the oil filter housing. As for the return line, the 2G One works but needs a little modification, the screw holes on it didnt match up to the ones on the turbo so we had to grind them a little bigger, so its your choice if you want to get a 1g oil return line or if you want to modify your own. Other than that pretty much everything is a bolt on, you will probably have to do a little bending and stuff of the lines and you will need to get a little longer hosing for the coolant lines. Not to bad overall though and everything needed can be found for way less than $100.
