Use 1st gen block in 2nd gen car

I want to put a 1st gen block in my 2nd gen car, just the block, keep everything else 2nd gen. Will all of my sensors and acessories and everything else go on as if the block was a 2nd gen?? Thanks

All of your power steering, alternator, and AC will remain 2nd Gen. The only sensor that would be changed would be the 2nd Gen's crankshaft angle sensor. You are going to have to get a 1st Gen camshaft angle sensor and put that on your 2nd Gen head to give the factory ECU the crankshaft angle sensor's input.
