18G'd Laser vs. Basically stock Laser

I have a 90 FWD Laser with turboback 3" Exhaust.....Upper Intercooler piping....550's, Walbro 255 Lph fuel pump, AFC, and an 18G at only 13 psi.......i ran a friend of mine in his basically stock laser that has a K&N Filter and is running his exhaust straight off the downpipe.......at night (in the cooler air) i could only manage about 2 car lengths on him.......during the daytime (hot humid air) i can only manage about a half a car length on him........could this be a worn ECU.......or just that 13 psi on an 18G just isnt enough to lay the smack down?......it is quite laggy at this boost setting......any help on this one would be appreciated.......

i think you should go to this guy i know by the name of "JHAV PERFORMANCE" he will get on the right track, he has a basically bone stock dsm with a 1.8 tranny and he hangs with a dsm with 18g,550's,u/p intercooler piping, and a walbro fuel pump on 13 psi........wait a minute..........................its you !!!! Man turn it up to least 16psi that's what i run on my stock turbo. 16 psi is being a little conservative to, you could probably run more no problem but that depends on what kind of shape your motors in. When my turbo gets here i'll be running 18psi daily and 20psi at the track on race gas. I know your motor can handle more psi than mine cuz don't you have the big rods. But like I said in depends on the mileage and what not on the engine. Mine only has 40000 on it.
