Just want to know what i should buy next. I would like your personal experiences and recommendations.

A FMIC or the AFC and injectors?

I have just bolted on a 14b, EVO iii mani w/ EGT probe&gauge and O2 housing (both ported). I also have all of the other Stage 1 parts listed on dsmparts.com pwr mods.

Which one of these next upgrades will give me the most HP. I am still on my tiny stock SMIC.

Peace Out:dsm:

why? What/How much power is to be gained by upgrading my injectors and leaning it out with an AFC vs. Getting a Greddy FMIC and eliminating the heat soak i have that is so bad. I know that with proper tuning power is to be gained by leaning out, just how much is the question and it's comparison to the FMIC's upgraded power.

About the logger. On this site there is a link to the datalogger in the parts catalog. It's on a pocket pal I guess. Does that price include the pocket pal or is that just for a program that you put on a pocket pal? To be perfectly honest. I don't know crap about the AFC's and DSM link, Pocketlogger, etc. I wish i did.

BTW i will be getting 680cc's when i do the change too.

If i do get the AFC which should i get. I am not a hardcore drag racer, but race only like once or twice a month, and that is just with my friends (slow ass Civic w/ motor swaps and Integra's). I am building my car more as a street racer so i can just smoke a vette, stang, or slowmaro when i pull up to em' I get more enjoyment and an adrenaline rush out of that than taking it to a drag strip and abusing it.

you have a 2g, so you want to get a dsm link, not an afc, its a logger and will control your fuel as well, and you will get more power from the higher boost you will be able to run, not the injectprs themselves

as for a fmic, i wouldnt buy the greddy big fmic, my friend has it on his 2g and its hardly worth a thousand bucks imo, you can get a core the exact same size for about 600 and endtanks are about 60-70 a piece with the inlet/outlet facing whereever you want
the greddy looks big and nice but when you put on the car the drivers side endtakn routs the pipe straight across the top front of the IC and goes around the passanger side then makes a 180- bend and goes to the lower ic pipe
having the inlet pointing out the drivers side and making a bend there will be alot better then having a big pipe blocking like 1/5 of your IC surface area
but i guess this is just my opinon, it still works good and all, but i feel its design it flawed a little bit
i would probally get the injectors and fuel control first too, but i know how bad heat soak is so if you have the extra money it will cost over fuel control and injectors it certainly isnt a bad tome to buy an IC
