So I turned my boost up today...

Finally got my boost controller in today and went out for a spin data logging. My first pull I hit 19 PSI in first and in second I hit 22 PSI. Holy shit, that was a little bit faster than the previous 11 PSI I was running before. Never heard my BOV so loud. So I check out tunerstein and I only had a high of 8 for my knock sum. I was staying rich all the way through the pull. I proceeded to turn my boost down to 16-17psi, and I am getting knock sum of 3-4 when I get on it hard. Please check my mods out and let me know if I can safely run more boost?

BTW - I was running pump 92, and air temps are 35-40F.

well...if you don't have the 255 or 550s in yet then I'd say turn your boost down to 14. If you do have them in...then 18psi should be fine. But looks like you get knock for some strange reason...maybe you need a bigger IC.

what kind of equiptment are you using to tune with here? i don't see anything in your mods list.. you could probably safely run 18lbs if you can keep it at 3 counts of knock, because you can richen it up a little on the topend and most likely get rid of that.
