Check out My Gallery for the new 6-bolt pics. I still have some 7 bolt pics up I need to delete. I think the motor turned out nice. I had a few items powder coated before installing the motor. Enjoy!

Thanks for the comments guys. The whole swap took 3 days working 14 hours each day. I had the rotating assembly sent off to be balanced and the block bored out 20 over about 2 months ago so it was just a matter of putting the pieces together. The install really sucked as some things fit and some things did not. It seemed like all I was doing was going back and forth to the parts store for stuff. Its done now all I have to do is chase a small oil leak and get it tuned in.
I had to take the oil pan off to do the install as the piece that holds the extra quarts stuck out to far to install the motor the way I had it on the hoist. The 2G belts did not fit and had to buy 2 new ones. My scatter shield would not fit due to the water neck at the bottom end being in the way and finally I had to rewire the main engine harness to accomodate the move of some components that mount to the intake manifold. I was releved when she kicked over and had over 80lbs of oil pressure. A six bolt swap is definatley not for the birds.
Might I add the ARP main studs do not work very well on the flywheel side as the stock and aftermarket oil pans want to hit the studs. I simply put the stock ones in for that one area, as you can see in the pic, to accomodate the needed clearence for the oil pan to fit.

Car never gets driven in rain or snow so it should stay clean. The car only sees the street when I'm tuning it. Otherwise she's a track car.
