1g motor in a 2g. tranny question

i have a built 6-bolt motor. and i'm thinking about putting it in a 2g. but i was wondering do i use the 2g tranny or do i use a 1g tranny when i do the motor swap.

one more question. i have a act 2600lb clutch and a fidanza flywheel for a 92 tsi awd, and i was wondering if that would work in a 95 gst.

2G tranny fits the 1G motor. Mounts between the 1G and the 2G are different for the tranny, but bolt patterns match up. Can't use a 1G tranny in a 2G or vice versa.

It would work if you swapped it with the 1G motor. 95 has the 7 bolt motor, which has 7 bolts in the flywheel instead of 6 on your Fidanza.
