Turbo NAs

97 GS-sold it and got a 97 GST.

To answer your question though. Check out www.hahnracecraft.com You can get a Stage 1 or Stage 2 turbo system for your car. You can run Stage 1 and low boost with a pretty much stock system. If you step up to Stage 2 or want to run higher boost, your going to need things like Exhaust, injectors, fuel pump, etc. Check out the N/T performance section for a more info.

Making you not such an 'incompetent kiddie'? Then you should've already known that HRC sells about half of all turbo kits for NA's sold, and if not, there's a reason why there's an NT performance section on here, thus making you the 'incompetent' one, not knowing to post in the NT section or read the vast variety of articles out there that would take any newbie no more than 2 minutes to find. Search first, then ask questions.

Yea i'm not. I just wanted a word from somebody that has already turbocharged theirs. I know about hahn and star kits. I'm just interested in the process through what they had to do. The question I meant alittle more towards DIY guys. I'm sure theres gotta be someone out there with a little knowledge to share.

Actually by the way, if I were an arse hole I'd say hey, you know if I were asking for turbocharged rs/gs guys then it wouldn't be under N/T performance. Plus I know this is recommended 4g63 engine performance, but it still actually is named Engine Performance. Thus the reason I posted here. Newbiefy me if you want, I don't care. I'm just asking a simple question to the right people, and your not the right "people" I was looking for. But thanks for the post.

There's 2 people around here that I know very well with turbo'ed 420a's. One of them has a B16G kit from HRC (guessing a stage 2 probably) with forged pistons/rods and he tunes with an AFC. With the staged kits from NA-turbo vendors are very bolt-on, and it's a matter of selection. The FMIC that he got from Hahn was very good quality, and even filled the Blitz front that he has on his car (not my style, but whatever). Anyone with basic engine know-how and the proper tools could put one of the turbo kits from a DSM vendor on very easily. With that said, back to the party! w00t!

Its pretty much a waste of money you best bet is to buy a gs-t or gsx because you turbo a gs or rs and you will only run like a mid 14 with perfect driving

Far from the truth. Hahns RS runs 11's. I know plenty of people who have turboed their 420A's and are producing 12 and 13 sec slips. Check out 2gnt.com They have some guys with 300+hp dyno sheets. So while turbocharging an N/T car is not worth it, in my opinion anyway, it can still produce quality results.

Yea and anyways here were I live its more interesting to here about a non turbo engine being turbocharged then having a gst/x. they're easy to come by. my neighbor has a tsi for instance. i'm more interested in having an eclipse with hubs caps and no wing with a fmic sitting up front. its great.

Ya i wanna know what you guys went through too as i am planning on turboing in a couple months. as for not worth it, any one can buy a GS-T or GSX, but its fun to turbo a non turbo. if i saw a GS-T, and a turboed GS, i would be more interested in the GS. it takes more work to get the results you want, and its more rewarding in the end to know you did it all yourself, you didnt just sell your car and take an easier way:cool:

but you can run 12's in a turbo dsm for about a grand, so it is a waste of money.
