Ok, I can get an EVO8 Intercooler, brand new condition for 300 bucks from my buddy. How exactly could I go about having it installed on my 2g talon tsi awd. I am going with the GM MAF so I would start with this

This pipe comes right off the throttle body.
I already have this, but I do not know if it would be useful.

And I am getting rid of this in case anyone wants it. Let it go good price because I wont need it either:

Since I have a 14b and i am going to a Big16G, I would probably need this:

Then I would guess with those 2 pipes, i might be able to have someone make the rest, or maybe there is a pipeing kit i do not know about. Anything that anyone knows or could aid in me doing this, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

My buddy has a Evo and the intercooler looks just like the Starion/Conquest IC. I would save up for a more efficient IC. And you can't peice together two different IC kits to make one. It will never work or line up!

Well I was not going to piece one together with other pipes from other kits. And the EVO intercooler is alot better than the old thin stario/conquest intercooler. Its bigger, and thicker and has more air flow. But anyways...I was gonna get this pipe:http://www.dejontool.com/images/DSM...IC/UIP-1gC2.JPG
So i could run the GM MAF setup, and I was also gonna get the "J" pipe here:

And then use those two pipes, and have an aluminun welder I know from NASA make the rest of my pipeing.

custom fabrication for a evo 8 fmic on a 2g is going to be around $300-500 by itself....that why i gave it the thumbs down

exactly why he should just get a kit. I really don't understand why everyone wants to put evo shit on their cars. So say you take 400 for piping and then 300 for the core thats 700 when you can get an adfx kit for 725$ shipped right now on a group buy over at dsmtalk. And i garuntee that that core will flow more and cool better.
