Hey Dsm's

I was wondering, i have a stock engine and has a low mileage of 73,000 miles and i was wondering for a stock turbo (TDO5H) is it suppose to kick at 4k rpm or lower than that? because my turbo seems to hit full power at 4k rpm all the time, cold air or hot air. also i took off the BCS restrictor plug and it added another 7 psi from my stock 13 psi turbo. you guys think its a 16G? Or is there something wrong with my car?

it added 7 lbs ontop of your 13? so your pushin 20? r u sure? thats not good. do you have a boost guage?
 
yes i am pushing at max 20 at third gear and 2nd at about 18 or 17 and the other gears i never try it...y? is there something wrong..? do u think i have a weird turbo or engine..?
 
yes i am reaching 20 psi with bcs restrictor off, and 13 psi on. do u think its boost leak or is it because of my autometer boost gauge?
 
if you dont have a built block dude you are gunna screw yourself....turn your boost back down to around 13-15psi. 20 is way too much
 
basically you took it all off wrong and you are running open wastegate, get an BC or put the BCS back on. 13psi isnt stock, the BCS plastic piece may be removed, also there could be a gromet in the line between the LICP and the T to the wastegate, this is what I had and was reaching 13psi. 20psi on stock system is to crazy, if it is a 1g (it isnt specific in your car type) the 14b should kick in full around 3500rpm on stock exhaust, if its hitting in at 4000rpm it could be a bad cat.
 
thankz a lot bros i think its because the bcs plastic piece is out. i never knew 1g had it but i knew for a fact 2g did.
 
It's not that restrictor, or else you're calling it something else. Something is drastically wrong, and at those pressures without serious supporting mods it'll get MUCH more wrong very soon.

Restrictor removal _might_ get you 2 psi, usually less.
