I would recommend staying away from it… I “might” make some warped sense to be installed in a 2G (since you need a kit to install a Mistu turbo in a 2G anyway). But it does not make ANY sense on ANY level to install it in a 1G…

They say that it flows more than a regular 20G. But the best I have heard people running with it only mid 11’s, where as regular 20G was taken into 10.8’s. Check out http://www.dsmtimes.org/ and search for “super20G”… Does not look so “Super”, does it?

leon --already have the turbo installed, and really the only thing i had to do with this turbo was a spacer plate on the exh manifold. But either way i wish i was better informed before i got it, i only wanna run 13.5's in street trim, anywhere in the 12s in race trim, in my mind this shouldnt be hard with this turbo.
 
Im running the S20g and youll probably hit faster times than a 13.5 on the streets. Im currently running 13.5 on the streets and I havent tuned the car yet or ran it on race gas with proper tunning. Turbo is not bad at all.
 
I have it on the car now. I think its a great turbo. I have only run a 13.1 at 109, but this was with no rpm launch and a horrible 1.98 60'. And untuned, (running very rich) Ive had the turbo for about 7 months and have had zero probs. But Im going bigger, and selling my S20G. I think this turbo would be great for FWD because there is some increased lag over a normal 20g. And yes buschur's 20g is the only 20 that has gone 10s. But it was with SUPER TUNING. And I think only one or two people have done it. Just like the ONE person that went 11s on the FP Big28.
 
Why would you sell your turno after only hitting a 109 trap on it? I think regardless of it being a super or not, that that 20g can definetly net much faster times/traps than what you had. You should try and tune with that turbo, and see how far you can get with it before you buy a bigger turbo. Thats like someone hitting a 13.8 in a gsx with a 16g and saying Im gonna go bigger. When all it needs is support and tuning and it could be going way faster...
 
I never said it cant go any quicker than what I have done. Infact I know it will go much quicker. But it will not meet My long term goals. And Im not thinking of buying. I already have my AGP L2R. The HRC is a great turbo. But I like Garretts much more. Plus my car is a street car mostly. The L2r will spool much faster than the HRC S20G. My S20G spools at like 4000-4200rpm. That is just too slow for me. Thats why I said I think it would be better suited for a FWD car And on top of all that, The L2R will seriously overpower the S20G by a LONG shot, no comparison. The L2R even out flows the Green, 730cfm-Green, at least 820cfm-L2R, probly more like 850cfm. Thats alot more airflow. The S20G is capable of only 680cfm max. Trust me, I know My info. But thanks sharing your oppinion.
