My crank pulley separated so I need to replace the pistons and the valvetrain. I found some stainless steel valves from slowboy for $200, my question is whether these should be used with the stock guides or with some type of aftermarket guide, I've heard of bronze guides but can't find them anywhere. Is there a lot of machining involved using 1mm oversize? I was thinking about getting the crower spring and retainer kit as well while I'm at it. For pics of my gouged pistons and my holy timing cover visit my site, www.tsiawd.tk

Thanks
Joel

I've decided that I'm not going with the oversized valves, but I still need to know whether the valves should just be used with the stock guides or with some aftermarket kind. Sorry if this is a dumb question.
