Mountain Home,
I have a full 3in exaust with a 3in o2 housing! I bought it through nate at dsmotors. I asked him how to stop or slow boost creep and he told me to port were the waste gate actuater vents into the o2 housing....he said port the crap out of it, just make sure you dont break the seal on the flapper! my question is what is the best tool to use to port it, and do you think it well help.
Thanks

Uhhh, a dremel will take about 2.345 million days to do that on cast iron. Do yourself a huge favor a get a pneumatic powered die grinder with a carbide bur made for cast iron (not aluminum). Should take about 15-20 minutes as opposed to 2.345 million days.... ;) A dremel just does't have the poop for porting iron unless of course you have the patience of a sloth.

What do you have your boost set at? A Big16G with stock flapper shouldn't be creeping unless you have your boost setting pretty low or your wastegate acutator is worn.

sorry I have not been on the web the last day or so. I had my boost set around 15 pounds. It doesnt have time to creep in 1st, it starts to creep at the top of the rpm band in 2nd and 3rd. Is there anything besides porting for boost creep?
:) thanks

Mine was creeping at anything less than 15psi. I'd say bump it up to 15, if that doesn't hold, bump it to 16 and log it. Make sure you're not getting knock etc..

What kind of a MBC are you using?
