5.99 for an O-ring?!

I am having to swap out my 510cc injectors for the 450cc's till I can get some type of fuel management...well anyway I had to replace the small O-rings at the top of the FI's...the lowest price i could find was $5.99 each, which was from the dealership . My question is if you can find O-rings that would fit at like Home Depot or something...or are they made out of some sort of special material/coating?

I went ahead and forked out the cash because I wanted to change them out tonight...so it's too late for me but I would like to know

That is strange. i never had a complaint about their shipping costs. UPS ground is pretty damn cheap.

yeah but when your talking about a 3.00 difference in buying from local dealer to partznet.. im sure shipping is going to be more then 3 bucks

true true. That is why you order tons of parts at once! My friends call me Conicelli because I have a stockpile of OEM parts. I tell you, whenever I order from Conicelli I have to buy oil filters... one for each car. No matter what, I have to get it. I have 20 oil filters in my tool chest. I feel like Mel Gibson in that movie where every time he passes a book store, he has to buy Catcher in the Rye. What was that... Conspiracy Theory? Anyway, my rambling is over.
