Four hours and a couple raw fingers later. here it is. Oh and it sounds incredable!! The guy who helped me put it on is a dinosaur and hes all about Muscle cars and he was doubting it would sound good at all. Telling me it would be another one of those Ricer sounding Fart cans. Lets just say when we started it up and he heard the deep rumble he got a big goofy smile and im sure it pained him to do so but Admited it sounded bad ass and nothing like he thought it would. Viva la RnR heh. anyways check it out I have other shots of underneith but they arnt uploaded yet.

The Only Complaint I have about the RNR exhaust is that the backside of the muffler ( the part that faces out, around the tip) Is not polished and it looks really ghetto compared to the rest of the shinny muffler.

wierd, never even noticed, doesnt bother me I guess. im more excited about the sound and power gain. I had seen the muffler at his shop before I bought it so I knew what I was getting before It was finished.

Also the tip itself is not sealed against the muffler so the dull backside of the muffler also gets coverd in black stuff from the exhaust.

And I don't really think I gained that much power with my system(3" 02 eliminator)

I was trapping higher on the stock exhaust then I do now with the full exhaust....I think it's that fact that the T-25 flows so little that it can't take advantage of the exhaust.

a 3" exhaust is a 3" exhaust...if you didnt gain much power its because of something else...as long as its full 3" whoever makes the exhaust really isnt going to effect the power.

even with the t25 a free flowing exhaust should pick up power

Easy buddy, I never said anything against RNR, they make a great product(although they are extremly slow at doing so).

All I said is that adding a full exhaust to my car didn't make a huge difference in power and my trp speed did not increse, although my ET dropped 4/10th of a sec.

i figured thats what you meant but i just wanted to make sure that someone reading this that didnt know any better didnt assumed that you meant the rnr exhaust itself caused a loss in power.

HOLY SHIT man.. 4/10's or a second with just a 3" turbo back? thats damn impressive IMO.. thats the next thing on my list(after pocket logger), if their sale continues on hehe..

I can feel the power gain top end defenitly and I have a pretty bad exhaust manifold leak. But for only 600 with o2 elim. It cant be beat.

more pics please! im interested in RnR's exhaust...any pics of the piping?

oh and i thought there might be pics on your webpage. definitely not a site dedicated to your car. your "webpage" sure was a porn site.

I got there 3" O2 eliminator Downpipe w/test pipe...and it made a noticeable difference...much faster spool up (about 500rpm sooner) and smoother more linear power band that just pulled stronger all around.

I'm happy with it...but I have a Tanabe RM Cat-back...so I can't say anything about RnRs

This has happened to my RNR exhaust too, but other then that I abosolutly love it! :thumb: The sound is awesome, deep and bassy, and the performance was pretty good too. To date my best time at the track was a 14.3@92, this is with the mods in my profile and the T-25. Take a look in my gallery to see some more pics of the exhaust, or go here, http://www.cardomain.com/id/kakoriat

I don't know about the updated tip but mine was only tacked in two places. I heard that more welds have been added. I just filled the area between the muffler tip and the added tip with high temp silicone. For the first few days you could see the red gunk inside, but it was quickly covered with carbon. Now you don't see it and there is no more carbon on the outside.

:talon: Guess you guys are just unlucky. My tip is completely welded on to the muffler no seams no red sealent. Guess the only gripe so far about the exhaust doesnt apply to me =)

Awesome! :thumb: Any sound clips>

they used to just tack the tip on in 2 places, but now they are welded on all the way around. And im pretty sure he offers the HKS carbon titanium mufflers now. I don't think he has it up on the site but if u mail him he could tell u if he is offering those yet or not. And i do agree that i don't like the fact that the part the tip is attached to is not polished. But im still gunna get it cuz he's a cool guy and the prices are unbeatable.

on 2g mine is at a slight angle outwards which I think looks dope. not sure it this is all setups though as a hanger in a differant location could throw it off.

So here's the deal... I look on RnR's site, and notice that for 1g FWD cars, the 3" turbo-back has a 4" TIP! Isn't that ginormous? I don't know about a 4 incher on my car, so anyone who has pics PLEASE help me out.

This is the best I can do for the moment. I don't think that it is too bad. I just wish I could tuck the whole muffler further back into the bumper.

Tuck it back in further and you'll get lovely deposits all over the bumper cover. The RNR muffler DOES slip on, so you couls just cut some of the area it slips onto so it slides back further. At your own risk. I say leave it potruding as a Phallic symbol.

See that? 3 inches and sticking out? Yeah, My cars package is bigger then your's.
