Is it true that rebuild engine will never be ass good as factory build engine.I mean it will never be as perfect and exactly fitted,and will always have problems of some sort ?

I would say false a rebuild done by someone that knows what they are doing and takes time to pay attention to detail will be MUCH better than the factory motor. The thing that wont make it last is the tuning. The factory cars go through all sorts of stress tests and are tuned VERY conservatively. When you start trying to wring another 50 or so wheel hp out of it you wont have the same margin of reliability.Originally posted by racer
