Can anyone comment which is the best 3" exhaust of the above for a 98 GSX? Which is the best "stealth" muffler, with the performance but none of the noise. RNR looks nice, but in another thread, the pic of the pipes shows that they aren't flanged? I want to swap out a straight pipe for the cat, the DSS one looks nice and is a good value. I've heard the N1 is drony, and the Exmag is expensive and I still need the downpipe with those, plus the high flow cat, so they're a lot more money up front. Goals are: stealth (quiet and low visual profile), high flow, insertable cat, and if possible, reasonable price. I don't need stainless since I live in California, but do I need it if I want to swap parts out?

Btw, I plan on hooking it to a FP Big-28 (possibly 16G), with ported mani and O2 housing. I may eventually upgrade to 20G or FP green if I keep the car long enough.

Thanks in advance.

dont worry about which one looks stealthier just opt not to get the the muffler from them and get the dual tip muffler from MagnaFlow they look stock to almost anyone who doesnt know DSMS and then get whatever exhaust you like best. I got RNR but I live close enough to walk to his shop so that kinda helped my decision.

That is the nice thing about our system. If you order the high flow cat option then you can always slip a cat in there or slip a test pipe in there. This is only if you get the high flow cat option. We are also have a big sale right now too.

You're not going to get "low profile" with an N1. It's a big 'ole ricer tip, which I happen to like, but you might not.

The nice thing about the N1 though is that you can keep your stock downpipe with the 3" adapter around and just wail that thing up there for inspection day, and then go home and put the regular 3" downpipe/no cat back on afterwords.

Exactly the same reason I like the n1 as well.
