Why hook up mbc to bov return instead of turbo?

I'm gonna hook up my mbc and I was gonna hook it up to the turbo like the stocker boost controller but everyone seems to say to hook it up to the bov return line for the boost source. I'm still useing the t25 if that makes a diffence. Also where can I get those little nipple things to cover up the vac port and boost source from the turbo if i hook it up to the bov return line. I never had to use them before. The boost controller came with no vac lines or nipples.

Pepboby's has the rubber vaccum caps i think.

Any parts shop will have vacuum caps, but if you're putting it on a pressurized point in the intake system, cinch up a tie-wrap around it good and snug.

Still not sure where to connect it yet...

Vfaq says get the boost source from the BOV Vac line, but I would think the turbo nipple would be a better source...?

Turbo is not a good source for a MBC because it is too unstable. It tends to spike much more, so you never know where your boost is actually set. This is especially noticeable in lower gears.

Tapping it at the manifold gives boost signal a chance to “stabilize” for much more consistent boost control.

That is why most of the good MBCs are tapped at the BOV line.
