ngk bpr7es plugs on a lightly modded 2g?

i purchased a set of ngk bpr7es plugs satisfied that i can put it on my gsx, but as i read more about them on forums, others say its okay to put them on a stock vehicle and some say to put it only on cars that run with high boost. the mods i have on my car is a: uicp, filter, 1g bov, thermal catback exhaust. will it be a good idea for me to slam on some 7es or maybe stick with 6es?

I use them on my car(got rid of the platinums in there) which is slightly modded. The car felt smoother,not faster, just nice and smooth. From what I gather what gap you choose is more important than the choice between 6 and 7. I gap mine at .030, but my friend with an 18g has to gap his to about .026-.028

i have an intake, bov, supra smic, custom intake piping, removed bcs restrictor, and dump tube cut. When I first bought the car someone had the wrong plugs in, and you couldnt take it over 3500 rpms. I put some platinums in there( I didnt know turbo+platinum was a bad idea). It ran ok, but for the past month I've been using the ngk bpr7es and its been all good.

7's might be just a bit cold for a street car, but it shouldn't be crucial. The factory settled on 6's for a reason, but you may be driving harder than they thought their target customers would. Judging by all the intake silencing and that goofball crap in the clutch hydraulics put in for leetle girl drivers, my guess is that they thought anyone driving a 2G would be wearing panties. Which isn't to say none of us are, but I don't want to get into personal details. cough
