Sorry it did not post correctly?

Here is the deal a local shop wants to charge me $690 to put in a T-28Killer ($300), 500cc injectors ($45), AFC ($90), and fuel pump ($120), Port the mani ($75), port the turbo ($60). I want to cut down on that cost. I have a few options. First I could save $300 by putting the turbo in myself. I am worried that if I do that would it be safe for me to drive 70 miles to the shop with the turbo bolted on and no fuel pump, AFC, or injectors? Second I could have them put the AFC in I assume that if I don’t adjust anything and leave it at 0 across the board it will be the same as stock (let me know about that) then drive it home I could put the injectors, and turbo in myself. Then drive back and have them put in the fuel pump. My problem is that I don’t want to install the AFC or fuel pump. I can install pretty much anything else. What should I do to save money? Will the car run with the turbo installed and nothing else? Will the car run with injectors, AFC, and turbo and no high flow fuel pump? I am not saying that the prices are bad at all I just want to save money by doing some myself and letting them do the AFC and fuel pump. Please don’t tell me to just do the fuel pump and AFC my self.

I'd say the S-AFC is the hardest part depending on if you have the right tools. If you have no tools or cave man tools then I would either try to find someone on here who lives close by to help or just pay the man. If you have a decent amount of tools (breaker bar, 10 - 19mm sockets as well as a torque wrench) then get the stuff ported somewhere and then install it all yourself. It all depends on who you know.. Hope that helps you out.. :thumb:
