Tearing apart my brothers car the other day I noticed that his MBC has EXTRA long tubing on it, so instead of the MBC housing being mounted under the hood it was relocated into the DASH of the car, so that to adjust the boost you don't have to pull over and pop the hood to do so, you can just twist the knob on the dash.

I was just wondering if there is any down side to this, or reason not to do so. I can't see any reason why it would be, but I don't know enough to be confident in that:D Not owning a turbo car I don't know if this is common practice or not.

The longer the vacuum tubing the slower the response time was the answer I got when I posed the same question to an expert. Take it as second hand info, I never tested this theory so I don't know for sure.
