Compression Question

hey i just had a quick question. Ok i had my tranny rebuilt and i machined my flywheel. I noticed that i can turn the flywheel easy for about 1/8 turn then it gets almost impossible to turn. Now i now that it isnt supposed to turn because of compression, but is it still supposed to turn that 1/8 turn easy? or is it supposed to be hard to turn all the time? any help would be good

Your car is just fine. You have to remember, it's not under compression the entire time, so you will be able to turn the crank a little ways before you hit compression.
