I just got my car together and have never used an EGT gauge or an SAFC. Here is my current setup:
93 AWD talon
6bolt JDM motor
PTE 54trim (from dejontool)
680cc injectors (from dejontool) *said these were PTE injectors
Walbrah 255 intank pump
4" Forced Performance intake
2g MAF
SAFC
Kenetic Motorsport FMIC
stock BOV
Greddy EGT gauge
Modine radiator
1375CFM spal slim fans (From RRE)
I'm running the lowest boost possible, which is 12-13psi.
Basically the question I have is, what should my EGT's be right now? I really need a datalogger but the TMO must have left with the Cacoon aliens cause they dont seem to be on Earth to return any form of contact that I have sent them in the past 3-6 months.
Here is what my EGT's are currently:
@idle: 400-500 C
@60mph in 5th gear cruise: 700-750C
@WOT all the way to redline in 2nd and 3rd: 790-800C
I need to look at my SAFC at redline too but I think its reading -15%. At idle it is -3% and at a cruise it is reading -5.6%.
If the SAFC is negative (-15%) does that mean that more fuel is added than the ECU knows about or that less fuel is there? I actually think that the COR is more referring to AIR not fuel, right? Can someone help me out?
THanks in advance,
Daniel
