I have the hahn stage 2 kit (the super 16g) and i am going to pump about 10 pounds and i need to know what size injectors to get.
Any advise? Thanks

The best advice I can give you, is to SEARCH. I am not trying to be an ass but its not like this is a question no one else has ever asked.

I have a question though. Why on earth did you buy a 16g if you are only running 10 lbs of boost. Was this a non turbo car with a turbo? or do you have a GST like your sidebar states? Having more info in your post is also some good advice.

Well Im assuming you are running a stage 2 kit on a Nonturbo car with a completely stock longblock. IMO I would just get some 680 or 780's now, just for incase you upgrade larger on your turbo/bottom end in the future. They dont cost much more than 550's. Better than sellin gyour 550's 6 months from now and paying out the ass again for bigger ones.

God that is the truth. it just more of a hassle in the long run. When I buy my 680/780s in October, I'm pretty sure my 550s will be in my possession for a while. :(

its a 98 rs non turbo. and i bought the kit and i dont want to push more than 10 psi on stock motor. That would be stupid

Maybe I am missing something but why is everyone telling this guy to get 660s or 720s when he is running a 16g with only 10 psi. I know his motor has higher compression but I'd be willing to bet that for the performance he is looking for some stock turbo 450s would be the best way to go. Do turbo injectors drop in on your car or is the impedence different? Are your injectors top-feed or side-feed?

We are telling him to get 660 and 720's because then say if he blows his motor up, he can rebuild it with forged internals, and guess waht. He doesnt have to buy new bigger injectors because he bought tiny ones the first time.

Well, alright I suppose. But say he buys 720's or even 660s. Running such low boost with such big injectors is surely going to make tuning fun. I admit I do not know anything about the 420a engine, so how hard is it to overrun the stock FPR? Its probably easier than the one for the 4g63, so add an AFPR to your list of parts. Now tuning gets even more difficult, and he is still only running 10 psi and probably not over 250HP at the wheels. Whenever possible, I choose the K.I.S.S method of upgrading: Keep It Simple Stupid. It works.

yeh...if the stock turbo injectors will work, I'd just buy some of those that were used...you could probably pick them up for 100-200bucks for all four and then clean them if you wish (you might as well) you shouldn't blow your motor if you have an upgraded fuel pump and AFPR as well, you SHOULD be fine...I also don't know much about the 420A...but I know that I could run rich throughout the power band with 450s and my big16g at 10psi...I was running fine with them and the big16 at 14psi...so thats why I don't see them being a problem for you.

If you blow the motor you'll be spending a hell of a lot of money...especially if you buy one to have it built up. whats the difference of an extra 300 bucks after you sell your 450s for 100 and get some 660s or 720s then? what now you go from 3000 to 3300 for you motor? ooo whoope
