Do you think I'll even need an FPR?

So here's the setup...

AGP RS49
FIC 680cc
Walbro 255lph
S-AFC
and a bunch of bolt ons that are irrelevant.

I don't plan on running any more than 18 psi for street use, and 22-24 at the track on race gas.

What do you think?

Yes, and get a fuel pressure gauge that you can monitor from the seated driving position. Not one of those useless rail mounted jobs.

Preferably right below or above the boost gauge. That way you can monitor fuel pressure and boost at the same time.

Now everyone with a gauge under the hood will attack my post with no you don't:laugh:

i have a 255,660/s and an safc and im hitting fuel cut with my G50..why?..no fpr..its dumping way too much..i would buy one if i was in your shoes..

When do you hit cut? Just full throttle, all of the time?

I thought about just getting a fuel pressure gauge to monitor it, but damn! Are there any good FPRs on the market that don't require all new lines?

I have a SARD AFPR with a 0-60psi gauge under the hood and it allows exact control over your fuel pressure settings which is nice. I also have 255lph HP and 650cc injectors. I would never go back without it.

Have a look at my gallery there is a pic and a bit of text about my AFPR setup how I drilled and tapped my rail 3/8ths NTP etc for the setup. Cheap but very effective...

Having too much fuel, ornot having an AFPR has NOTHING to do with fuel cut.
