Engine: 4G63T GVR4 JDM Engine. Bone Stock, FWD setup.
Car: Mirage/Lancer 4 Door Sedan. 96 Model.
Here's my question:
My BOV is the stock 1G BOV. What if I remove the hose that is vented back to the Intake tube going to the Turbo. If I'm not mistaken, this type of BOV is recirculating. I tried once to vent it off the atmosphere,
by removing the rubber hose from the BOV that goes to the Intake pipe. It produces a wonderful (ppssssst) sound. Better sounding than recirculating the air back to the intake pipe.
Are there any performance/reliability/problem issues if I do this setup. I'll just capped off the hole in the intake pipe so there'll be no air leaks.
