swapping eprom and obd2 ECUs

if i swap the ECUs on a 95 and a 96 will either car run differently? or will both cars run the same with the different ECUs?

They should work the same. No need to swap any wiring.

If you are putting a 95 ECU in your 96, It MAY fail one aspect of an obd2 emissions test, as some of the tests(depending on state) query the ECU for a CEL test, and the 95 ECU has a bug that always say the CEL is on, whether or not it is. I don't think this is a major issue though. If you are doing this swap in order to put a new eprom in, then dsmlink v2 fixes that bug.

Putting a 96 ECU in a 95 will work fine, without any complications.
