I just basically did a full non-turbo to turbo conversion in my 1G. New bearings, reconditioned rods, new turbo pistons and rings, many new gaskets, the whole shpeel.
New Mods - 16G, 2G MAS (all connectors connected correctly), HKS 264 cams, Kinetic FMIC kit, new magnacore wires and BPR7 plugs gapped at 0.028", 550s, untuned SAFC, boost guage.
Now the car starts up alright but I can tell it idles quite funny. Jumping from 700rpms to 1500rpms. The car never had an idle surge before so I doubt it is it. (I'm using the same intake mani an t-body). When I hit the gas quickly the boost guage reads a jump from about -20 to -10 on the vacuum, but the rpms stumble to even reach it past 1.5k rpms.
Then when I hit the gas slowely and work my way up in rpms, as soon as I hit 3000 rpms, the engine's rpms falls back to idle and struggles to get back up.
Heres what I have ruled out: Cam Angle Sensor is in right. SAFC is wired in right. I'm getting spark and my plugs are gapped properly.
Any more suggestions?
