Local DSM guru info- what do you think?

Hey guys,
i just got off the phone w a DSM guru here in town, he has a VR-4 galant pumping 500hp, he sells JDM parts and has tried every turbo built.
He told me a few things and i just want to know if the info is correct:

1)to make my 2g fast i don't have to replace intake mani or do head work

2)2g rods break after around 320hp since they are pretty thin, so i should replace these as my firts internal engine mod

I'm sure you can make it really fast with out doing these but they will help once you get enough mods.

I don't know when they break but they are weeker than 6bolt rods, which I've heard of people making over 400hp, but have never seen it with my own eyes.

Thats a load of crap....I have personally seen 400+ whp....121 MPH traps in a full weight 95 GSX....with a 1g intake mani, stock 2g head, and a stock block...cams were the only engine mod.....using a stock 2g ECU and AFC for tuning.
