I put an ACT 2100 clutch on my 95 turbo motor and crankwalked it.. soOo I just recently had the 1G swap into my 95 Talon. When I picked up my car, it idles incredibly hard, the check engine light is on, and all I hear when I run the car is my belts humming. The shops excuses for all of these problems are...

The engine must have performance cams in it and thats why it idles hard. They cant tell me why it just about dies when I turn my AC on. It goes from 1500-1600 to about 250RPM with the AC on in neutral.

The car has to get broken back in or whatnot to get rid of the check engine light. But they will check it out, yea right!

Finally, the belts, they told me due to a new timing belt being soo tight, it would take a few hundred miles to stretch out and stop whining.

I am just trying to get some more professional help here. It took this shop 2 months to swap my engine in and I get it back in a crappier state than before with a better engine! Please help!!

find another shop for a second oppnion, this shop called GW did that same type of thing to my friend with his integra, he put an si engine in an old integra and it didnt run right, so he took it to them to fix it, they kept telling him this and that part is bad, so they get him to spend well over $2000 on a new intake mani and throtle body, and a bunch of other stuff, then after he buys all that and they charge him to install it still doesnt run right and they tell him "the block must be cracked, u will have to buy a new block", then they gave him an outragious price on a block, he said to hell with u guys i can get a whole new engine for that price
my point is that not every shop is honest, many are out to get u for as much money as they can regardless of what ur car needs, and not every shop actually knows what they are talking about or what they are doing just because they act like they do

i would suggest take ur car out of the that shop, and either give it to someone who knows what they are doing, or get a friend or anyone else who knows about jdm 4g63 swap into a 2g, which i think will be cheaper.

if the shop didnt get it right the first time around, then that means they are either learning how to do it, or just trying to get more money out of u, either way, u'll provably end up wasting money, and maybe with a messed up new engine.

Get that car out of that shop and don't go back. I've heard nothing but bad things about them(I tracked down what shop you had it at :D )

Plus, the excuses they're giving you, should be a huge hint of what kind of shop they are.
Hopefully they didn't do the timing belt for you.

I took it to my DSM friend and he told me that it doesnt appear to have any upgraded cams.. so that means the timing must be off. Damn thing even takes a few seconds to turn over now. Then once it starts up, it roughly idles from about 900-1200RPM up and down. Im going to try to take it to another shop for their opinion but I have college starting up again Monday. Can't do anything just yet. Should I not drive it at all until I get it checked out??
