garret t25 pr t28?

is garrets T25 any different than the one on my 2geclipse???? the T28 is a upgrade but is the garret t25 any different at all...and when adding a T28 to my 98 gst its a direct install...no kit is required correct? can anyone verify

As long as you buy a T28 that is a direct replacement like the one from AGP or FP then yeah there is no other parts involved. Your car has a Garrett T25 on it now so I would not suggest you buy another one of those.

It seems that most guys prefer the 16G to the T28 even though you need an "install kit" which amounts to a small pipe and a few other bits and pieces no big deal.

Maybe somebody who had a T28 and went to a 16G can jump in here.

I have a big 16g and I say dont waste your money on either. Save and go straight for a 20g.
