what do you guys think of reusable headgaskets?

like the 1.7mm mitsu metal gasket or the 1.4mm HKS........

I was wondering if you guys use them and if thye are as good as some say they are as far as reusing them, since they are supposed to be non-crushable when torqued.

Thanx for lookin guys, let me know what you think

If you don't have your block decked and head milled, don't bother with those. You'll have a 99% chance that they will leak, even when new.

Even with the machining, I wouldn't reuse them. I don't care to pull the head and do the tbelt all over again when it leaks :) Just get a new OEM unit from Mitsu, some ARP studs, and you should be fine for at least 400 awhp. Some people recommend using copper spray, not sure how much that helps.
