ok guys i just though i would post on this because both of these turbo seem alsome, (i personaly have the agp kit), the kit from fp seems nice its a full bb turbo with a the capiblity of 545hp (this is from the dynos they did) they also said that the fp30 puts out more then the green and just as much as the red but very street able, they didnt give a spool up time, and for the agp kit we all know how this kit is also with the option of a bb turbo, just wondering what u guys think is a better made and better performance turbo.

If you're going to ask a question about a turbo here on DSMtuners, be sure you've read this whole message. We're going to be a little more strict about how turbo questions are asked in order to maintain the high level of quality in the forums. This is usually the most popular question, and the first question by newbies - and it shouldn't be. The truth is, you never need to ask which turbo to buy. You can answer your own question by reading and doing research on each turbo to find whether or not it will work for your goals. It's mostly personal preference anyway, as most turbos are capable of performance numbers that the average tuner will probably never see. Most of your questions can likely be answered by performing a search on the turbo name.

- Before you ask:
1. Be sure you have all your engine mods listed in your Profile.
2. Be sure you first understand what supporting mods are needed for larger turbos - check the Tuning Guide linked at the top.
3. No "X"-Turbo vs. "X"-Turbo threads... these are never useful.
4. Use the Private Message feature to ask various members about their setup.
5. Please avoid asking questions about turbo specs, unreleased turbos, or other questions that can be accurately answered by simply calling the manufacturer directly or visiting their website.
6. NO vague "which turbo should I get?" type questions. This tells us you don't even know the capabilities of the turbos on the market. Do your research and then ask a more intelligent question when you are more informed. Click the "Advanced Search" link up top and start looking for info on each turbo name.

- How to ask:
1. Ask about specific turbos only.
2. Title your thread specifically about the turbo you have a question on, and ask a specific question about that turbo.
3. Give all the information you possibly can in order to allow others to offer useful feedback.

- How to post an answer:
1. List your mods and achievements in your Profile.
2. List what your goals were when you, yourself were turbo shopping.
3. List what turbo(s) you went with - not which one(s) you didn't.
4. Post your experiences only for the turbo(s) you've used.
5. Do not give opinions on the turbo(s) you have no first-hand experience with.
6. Do not argue with other turbo owners from a competing manufacturer.
7. Stick to the topic. Give your feedback on the turbos in question. Don't try to talk the person into going with a different turbo manufacturer.
8. No bad-mouthing turbo manufacturers - use DSMreviews.com to review a part or a vendor.

NO ARGUING

If people ignore/begin to stray from this format, we'll be closing threads without warning. If you posted a thread and it was closed, it was because you did not follow the guidelines above. This should take care of a good amount of needless arguing and hidden agendas. We're confident that this will improve the quality of the turbo-related discussions that take place here in the forums.

wow this site is goign to hell when u cant even talk about products with fellow dsmers i already have a turbo and just talking about the two because fp came out with there new turbo, losen up the belt and take it easy damn

Well, ask about the fp30 then. You cant really compare those two turbos. FP green is more comparable to the agp 50-trim. Both have put 400+ whp no nitrous and gone 11's by many people. The fp30 make 500+ hp, the 50 trim doesnt. Thats like comparing a 20g to a 16g.

Please lock this. no X vs. X threads like JDM has shown. Read the rules.

Its apples to oranges. Also you did not specify which FP30, the 3055, or 3065. The 55 is a 56trim GT30 compressor wheel which flows 55lbs per min.(GT12 cartridge). The 65 is a 56trim GT40 compressor wheel, which flows 65lbs per. min(GT14cartridge).... As in, a HUGE Fawken wheel. They both use the 10blade, 84trim GT30 turbine. A 50trim comp wheel flows 49lbs per min. So, like I said, really cant compare. They are different turbos, at different prices, for different needs. And dont concern yourself with "What They Have Done", because you wont ever be at that point. Dre is making 9,000whp on a 50trim compressor wheel. Curt Brown is making 21 Million whp on a FP3065. You wont touch either one of these guys. Just read, and learn as much as you can about different turbos that interest you. Then pic your favorite based on your research. Hell, I just gave you most of the info on them.

ya i have picked my turbo already i went with the agp 50trim stage3 .63a/r and love this thing so much, not im think of going maybe 57 or 60 trim and like a gt30 in a 63a/r that flows 60 lb/min, i was just wondering about that turbo from fp because it seems nice

klipzedgsx: No one is forcing you to post here. Obey the rules like JDMAWD specified and you won't have any problems. Think through your posts and make sure they make sense. Proper spelling and sentence structure wouldn't hurt either.

GSX4Life: Thanks for the informative post. Thats how it should be done.

On topic: I purchased the 50 trim t3/t4 non-BB .63 a/r stage III wheel from AGP also. Great product and Great service. The 50 trim is the best compressor trim hands down for a 2 liter motor like ours. The only reason to get something bigger is if you are somehow outflowing the turbo. YOU ARE NOT OUTFLOWING THIS TURBO. Unless you are making over 450 HP (which most people are not), then this is more turbo than you will ever need.

Dude... you are so wrong it hurts.

Curt Brown is only making 20.5 million at the wheels. :D

Sorry, work is boring today.
