1g throttle body on a 2g, install tips??

Anyone got any install tips for installing a 1g throttle body on a 2g?? I have dont 5-6 TB's on hondas. I have read the article on RRE. Anyone got any tips to make it easier? Let me know, I have one on the way to me!

Yeah first off disconnect the battery and completely remove(I did it with the battery in...not a step you wanna skip), thenthere is a blak box mounted to the fire wall remove the 4 10 mm bolts so that it is moveable. Undo the clamps for the ic pipe, and take the 4 12mm bolts for the tb. Two of the bolts stay in the mani so leave them in, the other two can come out disconect throttle cable and vac hoses(mark which goes where).

Now with the tb and elbow aside, here comes the fun part. put the new gasket flush with the mani and port to match(remeber put a rag in there to block shavings, when done vacuum out). Port the elbow only at the sharp edge no where else.

Install tb and like rre says run egr(e) vac hose off p and run the only other hose "a" to a2 and block off e and a1 with a vacuum rubber cap.

After I installed mine the idle was a little off, but I adjusted it and am fine. All in all great upgrade def worth it. Good luck and if you have any other questions email me at [email protected].
