Now that I got a bigger exhaust I want to turn up the boost alittle. And i need some opinions on some manual boost controllers.I tried the product and review page but there is not that many entries. My choices are the joe p,hallmanand the turbo xs high performance. So maybe alittle help if you can guys and gals.Thank you

I personally like the MBC from www.ffwdconnection.com.. it's easy to use & you don't need tools to adjust it. I had mine for 2yrs & it worked flawlessly... I just recently went to an HKS EVC EZ due to the fact that it holds the external WG closed until I reach full boost... & it's cockpit adjustable. The Hallman is also very good.. & they just came out w/ a cable actuated cockpit adjustable MBC... I think halmans are a bit on the pricey side.. but that's just my personal opinion... I do know that he offers a couple different grades of mbcs now a days. I've heard several stories of JoePs wearing out... I don't know if the spring gets soft or what.. but that's what I've heard.

My collection of Brass fittings, bolts, a spring, and a ball work great :)
Are there any bad ones really, IE ones that don't get the job done? (I know mine doesn't have cool flashing blue LED's or anything, but it works perfect).

I've used a Joe P for a little over a year and a half now with no problems. Holds boost well. Good bang for your buck ($50)
