Come one dude, there has been at least 5-6 threads in this section about this topic in the last week. Did you even try to do any research on this topic before you posted this?

JDM engines have all that horsepower because they're filled with tiny hampsters who help spin the crank better.

I know. I have one. When I took out the balance shafts, I even petted the hampsters.

LOL. I heard that if you put a JDM engine in your car....if u speed down mainstreet in your town, right by the clocktower on a stormy night, you will go back in time!

In reality....its the EXACT SAME ENGINE as a US 4G63. Some come with bigger injectors, turbos, and that cyclone intake manifold.....but its still the same thing.

the cyclone has a neat intake manifold incorporating twin runners. The outer runners I believe are longer and the inners are shorter and at a certain rpm a butterfly system switchs between the two, helping to give that extra torque at both high and low rpms

blah blah blah my magnus blows that bullshit away

blah blah blah? I was just answering the guys question nobody cares what intake manifold you have. The cyclone manifold is an interesting manifold I never said it was the best performing. A custom intake manifold made by someone who has a clue will always make more hp than a factory part. Not everyone has the money to buy a performance intake.

My post was not based on the anticipation of you caring. Thanks for expressing your understanding of how the Cyclone intake manifold works.

You win a cookie:)

heres a thought if u have nothing to say even regaurding the post shut your mouth so funny people flame others all the time opposed to givin there feedback..

the "cyclone" isnt a real engine, its just something sites call the jdm engine to try and fool people into thinking its something better then everyone elses jdm 4g63, its just a jdm 4g63 exactly like ours except it has a cyclone intake manifold, and bigger injectors and possibly a bigger turbo depending on what model the engine came out of, and alot of those extra 20 horsepower are from the less strict jdm emmisions, the rest is from the intake manifold

The ONLY reason I posted this: jdmawd ALWAYS has the need to flame others. ALWAYS!

Your Magnus adds torque down low, spools a turbo 200rpm sooner than a standard USDM intake, and costs $50? Impressive.

I had a Cyclone type of variable intake setup on my old 95 ForDUH Contour SE 24 Valve DOHC 2.5 liter V6. It had 12 runners for the V6, a set of 6 for low rpms that were short, like a 2g stock turbo intake manifold. Above 4000rpms the secondary long like a 1st gen turbo intake manifold's opened and it would change the sound of the engine from a growl to a higher pitched whine and would pull nicely to redline.

My 2nd gen needs this for the low rpm stoplight /summer/a/c on starts where the low end torque isnt there...
