boost levels on 50 trim, pump gas

I went to the track last night and I was running 23 psi on pump gas with my 50 trim and it seemed to be happy with it (plenty of timing & safe EGTs). I'm just wondering what kind of boost levels other people are running on both pump gas and race gas with the 50 trim. my mods are in my profile.

I have been running 25 psi on sunoco 94 with my PTE 50 for about 2 months now.

god i envy that. i cant even run 17 psi on 91 octane here. what a difference 3 octane makes huh?

I've been running 22 psi on a 50 trim and 91 octane for months now. 23 psi is where the car starts to become less consistant, or require more careful tuning which I have yet to take the time to try. To run 22 is just a matter of turning up the boost.

The same thing applied to the turbo I had last year. 21-22 psi was no problem.

i *cannot* run 18 psi on pump. i tried for a month to tune for pump. i would have to run it so fat it would belch black smoke. i said screw it and run 110 all the time now. its not my daily driver so why mess around with pump and race gas settings? car gets driven maybe 50 miles a week.

What kind of timing are you seeing at the top of 3rd gear? Got any peformance #'s? Right now, I'm at 23psi on my Green. My car is set up kinda funky right now and I need to change a few things. But, as it sits, my timing falls down to about 20-21 deg. at the top of 3rd gear.

My mph is VERY low for the boost I'm running, therefore that's why I'm going to change things around. Only went 12.08@113 so far. I might try to bump it up another psi or 2, depending on the weather next time I go out.

I'll have to check my logger to know for sure but I know I had more than 20 degrees timing, my EGTs were at 800c or lower. I was still running very rich, my back bumper is black from all the carbon. The timing lights weren't working at the track so they were just flagging people to go so I'm not sure what time I'm running yet. Also we only have an 1/8th mile track around here, but looking at the logger I was going about 90mph at the end of this 1/8th track (which is actually only a 600ft. track )I'll post some updates when I go back when the timing lights are working.
